I had no luck with pizza in MX, but that was good. They used fresh, high-quality ingredients. It was baked in a wood stove. You can see through the window in front of the store. I like thick crust, but that was thin crust, but that was my only complaint. I enjoyed it.
The pizzas are exquisite, you can compare them with the best NY or Italian pizzas. The place is coveted by the owners. (They cook) The place is a mini-restaurant, maybe the looks are not so attractive, but enter DO. You won't regret it.
Wanted to try something different rather than Mexican. The place was clean but the cutlery was very dated and worn. The waiters spoke no English so you had to translate the menu one dish at a time. Our pizza was good and we tried their local beer rather than just a Corona. I guess the thing that made this very good rather than average was it's location as on main street.
Good pizza on a main drag, less than great pasta, cold beer, average service in a clean place with reasonable prices. Would not go out of my way to eat there again, but if you are nearby and want pizza it is worth a try.
