Restaurante Saraguatos - Palenque

My friends and I had dinner here the other night and really enjoyed it! The cocktails (the mojito especially) were great and 2 for the price of 1. I had the Diablo Shrimp and loved it. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Great strong cocktails, the strongest margarita I've ever had. Delicious fresh sea food. Lovely chilled vibe. Highly recommended!

We stumbled into this little hippy restaurant in the leafy neighborhood whilst looking for a place to have a small bite to eat after a long day of travel. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp with coffee beans. It was very unique and super tasty and the steaks were awesome. There were two for one cocktails and the candlelit location was what drew us in. Very atmospheric. Would definitely recommend this to travelers looking for food that's a little bit more western.

We had our last meal here when we were in Palenque. Service was friendly and the beer was cold- other than that I don't have much positive to say about this place unfortunately. We had a burger and the specialty - the Spaetzle- they were just appalling. Half cold with some mushrooms, zero flavor and greasy. Might have caught the place at an off night but it just didn't work out for us...

We were running out of time in Palenque but Saraquatos is a place that we did not want to miss. We stopped by for breakfast before we left for the airport. The restaurant is large but they don't spend much of their time on breakfast. The coffee was good, but I can't remember what I had to eat. Although that was not the experience that we had hoped for, we will return for dinner if we make it back to Palanque but there are better breakfast spots.
