We ordered multiple dishes that were good, especially the beef dish, but the chicken Kebata was tasteless. Wouldn’t recommend it. It gets busy sometimes so book in advance if you can to find a table, especially outside.
A good place when it comes to taste and menu options. We had a great experience with the service too unlike a few reviews I got. Mango tofu, Tea leaf salad are must try. The place is pricey overall, but the location and variety they maintain might be the reason for high prices.
The tea leaf salad is awesome here. You can read the menu, order and pay the check from your phone. The staff is courteous and the service is good.
The food here definitely didn’t live up to the expectations created by its crowd. it was mediocre at best. the garlic green beans were okay, more salty than anything with no sign of garlic. we found many tough ends of green beans which are supposed to be cut before eating. the yellow tofu red curry was absolutely terrible, from the texture of the tofu and taste of the curry. however, the burmese tea salad was delicious as was the coconut rice. the restaurant was crowded, so the slow service is understandable. but the rudeness with with the waiter the treated us was definitely not. we know that the servers have many other people to serve but not even looking at the people while you’re placing plates on their table is inexcusable. super disappointed because we really wanted to like this place.
The chandeliers here reminded me of Chihuly’s glass sculptures. The samosa soup is flavor-packed without being excessively spicy and the tea leaf salad comes with separated components and then tossed at the table. It’s so savory! The sesame chicken could have done with more salt but the food overall is characterized by extremely pleasing flavors. Would definitely drop in again to try out new dishes!
