I visited this restaurant to try the Teriyaki bowl, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations compared to other places. One thing that really turned me off was seeing a staff member sweeping the floor and then using the same broom near the cooking equipment. I also noticed that there weren't any visible signs indicating that they have food handlers' certificates, which is common in other establishments. Additionally, the lady at the counter who took my order was quite rude; instead of handing me my order, she just tossed it under the plexiglass rather than placing it down carefully. Overall, I won't be returning to this restaurant.

I'm really going to miss this place. What more can I say? Where else can you find such great food for under $15? The rolls are handmade, the tempura is fresh, and the vegetables are perfectly crispy. Plus, the spicy sauce is made fresh every day—what’s not to love? I just wish you didn't have to go...

My favorite healthy lunch spot in Pasadena. Easy quick healthy and Consistent. The staff is great. They know me on a first name basis. This is my favorite go-to lunch spot. I eat here 3 times a week.

Always love Mako Bowl. Nothing pretentious; just light and yummy food. The potato salad is fire!
