Kramer Estate Wines - Paso Robles

The Cellars is a blend of a museum, wine tasting bar, and rock venue, all wrapped up in a classy atmosphere. I’ve also had the pleasure of speaking with Damien, who shuttles people from downtown Paso (the city center park) to GK. The service behind the wine bar is exceptional too—I've been served by Lacy and Chrissy, both of whom are knowledgeable and delightful to converse with. I even met Laura, the winemaker, and I couldn’t help but tell her how fantastic the entire operation is! As for the wine? I ended up joining the wine club! They offer two different tasting flights priced at $15 and $20 (if I remember correctly), with the higher price featuring reserve selections. That's what ultimately drew me to the wine club. One standout is the 2018 Petit-Cab, which is made from 50% Petit Verdot and Cabernet grapes, and I've tried others that are just as impressive. The "Big Red" and the Merlot-Verdot are also excellent choices. Last month, I picked up a few bottles of their Rosé made from Alicante Bouschet grapes, which was wonderful as well! In my opinion, GK Wine Cellars checks all the boxes: fantastic facility, wonderful people, enjoyable events, and delicious food—all paired with great wine. I haven’t even mentioned the green olives, specifically the Castrelventrano variety grown in southwestern Sicily. These olives are absolutely divine! Be sure to ask for them and take some home; they're worth the $15! Although it might be a bit off the beaten path, GKGC is a fantastic spot to visit, unwind, and sample their offerings.

The wine is excellent, the atmosphere is fantastic with wonderful people, there's live music, and a guitar museum – definitely worth a visit!

The venue is remarkable—I would love to host a party here! Gary is a true gem. While there are over 300 wineries in the area offering excellent wines, this place offers an experience that is truly one-of-a-kind and can't be matched.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed the wines, as well as the rich historical significance of the guitar music showcased by Gary Kramer.

This is the essence of Rock 'n' Roll—a really cool spot to chill. If I could only join one wine club, this would be it. As a long-haired, guitar-playing rocker, it totally resonates with me!
