We ordered four chili dogs the other day here. The manager had to get on the intercom because the gal couldn 't understand me for some reason, but hey, that happens sometimes. The bread wasn 't the best. The chili was ok, and the hotdogs were a bit chewy, like they 'd been microwaved; which may be how they cool all their food. Unsure about that. But we were hungry, and I wanted some chili dogs, so we stopped here. Totally glad they have 'beef hotdogs ' as my husband 's allergic to chicken. We commend them for that! If I could give zero stars I would. My family and I have always loved Sonic and their drinks. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever received at any Sonic. We walked up to order from the patio and pushed the red button. The screen acknowledged we had pressed the button. Meanwhile another gentleman walked up behind us then decided to walk up to the first stall and order. He received his food and we still hadn’t had our order taken yet. Then I asked an employee that was standing outside about why our order hadn’t been taken and he informed me that he was off the clock so it wasn’t his problem. Absolutely the worst service I have ever received bar none at any fast food location. I don’t care if that employee was clocked out as a representative of Sonic and wearing the uniform, he could have at least asked someone else to help me with my issue. Then Sheila came out and rudely asked for my money after I asked her nicely to please wait. First they told me I hadn’t pushed the button right, then it was that the red light didn’t turn on, then it was that they were short handed. All they did was come up with excuses or try to blame me, instead of just apologizing and making it right and taking my order. I have also sent a copy of this review to the corporate offices of Sonic. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
