Mad Steak - Peoria

Delicious barbecue—some of the best I've had in a long time! The catfish is excellent as well. My husband tried the ribs, which were incredibly tender. If you're not familiar with Peoria, the restaurant is situated in the mall. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be returning!

I ordered the 1/2 pound of Rib Tips and Potato Salad. The potato salad was delicious, but the ribs were just okay—some weren't as tender as I had hoped. However, what truly stood out during my visit was the service. Two cheerful ladies at the counter were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable with their warm smiles. Smo King Pit has a laid-back atmosphere, making it a convenient spot for those shopping at Northwoods Mall who want a quick bite. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the mall. I plan to return—thank you!

Five stars very friendly staff ,baklava is fresh and delicious! Very good price! Would recommend highly!

I recently ordered two slabs of ribs, and it was quite a disappointment. I specifically asked for baby back ribs, but instead received large-boned ribs that were full of fat and had skin on the back. I recognize baby back ribs when I see them, and what I received for $42.00 were definitely not them. I will not be eating there again. Buyer beware!

The Catfish is cooked just right, the chicken wings are nicely seasoned, the ribs are nice and tender. I go almost every Sunday for my family dinner. The service is great and they make you feel at home. Just a sweet atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant. Love the food and service.
