Passed by here. Went based on the reviews from pre-Covid but didn’t appear to be open. Not sure if I just went on the wrong day, but it looks real nonexistent.
After landed to Phuket we looking for the breakfast. First choice that we thinking is Dim sum but where!!! We choose Boonrat Dimsum because there is the way to our hotel. Long queue but good manage from staff when we got the table we have to choose the food from big menu. Good taste for food, place were clean, fast to clear the table Recommended for Dim sum lover.
Yummy.. corwded...fresh....old school...and very local. must try. Took us 15 minute drive from phuket town to this dim sum restaurant. worth the drive.... a very local place...they even speak english. go go go.
We went to another branch a year ago and I am now reviewing the one on Bangkok Road. The owner quickly realised I am not a local and help out since the other servers dont speak good English. As a South East Asian ourselves, we are very familiar with this kind of dim sum. Not the full fledge type you find in Hong Kong or Guangzhou. But its still very nice with a lot of local touches. Surely recommended for breakfast. And do get here early as they run out before 11 am. Coffee a bit weak, but dim sum is supposed to be enjoyed with tea.
