We tried four different dishes and they were all fantastic. I would give it 5 stars if possible. The chef spoke to us and provided descriptions of the available dishes. We received complimentary chips and salsa as a starter, and two extra tacos because the original order contained an allergen. The prices are a bit high for Belizean food, but most dishes are around $13 USD, which is reasonable compared to US prices. The restaurant is located in a popular tourist area. The 1981 restaurant at Naïa Resort offers exceptional food and service. They provide a separate Vegetarian/Vegan menu upon request, making it a great option for those with dietary restrictions.
