Church's has been here for several months. I've been by several times since it opened. My meal is usually warm and fresh when I receive it. The food isn't spectacular, but it's good. The honey biscuits are amazing. The staff has been well-mannered to me. However, nearly every time I go, they drag their feet on everything. Twice I have driven off because nobody would acknowledge I approached the the drive thru despite sitting there for over fifteen minutes. Multiple
I ordered online and went to pick up my food. They informed me that what I ordered is no longer available and I can cancel the order to get my credit card refunded. You cannot cancel the order online and you are supposed to contact the store directly. I tried calling numerous times and they will not answer the phone. I guess I'm just out the $17.30. I suggest not ordering online.
I was a little disappointed. I remember that would be the only place I would ever get chicken from, so when Plainview finally got one I was excited. The biscuits with the honey glaze are still excellent. The chicken on the other hand was a big disappointment. It was fresh but completely flavorless. Nothing no spices, no salt, just chicken dipped in whatever and deep fried. Right now Kentucky Fried Chicken or Chicken Express have my vote.
Just stopped in the drive thru not busy at all 5:30pm on a Friday should've been a clue. Not sure how long you keep your fry's under the heat lamp but is much to long sometimes got take the loss and junk them. Tasted like a rubber band. The chicken tenders not bad but has been a lot better. The biscuit needs to go under the heat lamp it was doughy on the inside. Will not be back
