Feedback gevenIncredibly disappointed! We went for the pasta making class. Our instructor was not engaging at all. Half the time he seemed bored or frustrated. I felt in the way. Never asked us our names or seemed to care to get to know us throughout the process. No small talk at all.We made one kind of pasta from scratch with mint leaves and sprinkled brown butter and hard peas on top (meh), then boiled pre made linguine, putting it in butter and cheese! We paid $94 each for this! The crapes with mushrooms and a cheese sauce on top were pretty good but nothing was super delish. We just hung around for half the class waiting for instructions. The meal was too simple and there was not enough to do. When I noticed the instructor doing things I asked to help and he always brushed me off saying “this is a very delicate process and it has to be perfect” or “ no it’s fine I got it”. He was grating cheese and putting oil in the pan! I wanted to say “I booked this class so I can cook, not you”!We didn’t learn anything new, no tips tricks or hacks! The dinner was so basic and such a let down. The other instructor seem to connect more with his group and we all wished we had him! It was also a bummer that there was no dessert.For a class like this the instructor makes or breaks your experience. Ours was a flop but I can see someone really enjoying themselves if they get a charismatic chef that’s engaging and willing to teach.
Beautiful modern cooking studio. They have a great selection of knives and cookwares.
Lovely place to host a private event. The food was amazing and the event space was elegant and open. Just amazing!
Incredible experience. The chefs are very helpful and the vegetarian menu was delicious. We had shaved fennel salad with endive, lemon, shallots, and celeryroot. The main course was a risotto with fresh peas and the dessert was out of this world! Souve pineapple with homemade carmel sauce and ice cream. Definitely taking another cooking course.
Their website is super confusing registration is very difficult. Be sure to note when your class is, as no one will send a confirmation. And the policy is no refunds. Absolutely no refunds. It doesn 't matter why. No refunds.I wish we could have experienced the class so I could review it, but we did not. When we asked if any consideration could be made for us, given our circumstances, the response we got from their Executive Chef included the following: "I think it’s bit strange that you are trying to blame us for the results of a mistake YOU made. "So, don 't be surprised if you get similar snarkiness in class.
