Pinewood Deli - Pocono Lake

A nice little deli right outside of arrowhead lake. Honestly it's the best place for those who live or who are stay in arrowhead because it's quick and convenient. friendly staff and not overly priced

The place needs a update all the equipment are very old and dirty no don’t buy anything there you bout to get sick !

Perfect stop for lunch/dinner and has light grocery items. Conveniently location by the entrance to Arrowhead Lake

The clerks are very helpful. But the interior and variety of merchandise is not what you would think a deli/ store that predominantly handles most of the Arrowhead Lake Community Association...because you have to travel so much further just to get a loaf of bread or gallon of milk. You get the impression the owner doesn't feel he has to do anything to update or stock because he is guaranteed to get customers. Because people have no choice because he is so close to the entrance to the community. But you feel like you need a bath or a broom when you go in there. And it's so limited in merchandise...like he went to a Bjs or Sam's club..or even Walmart and picked a few things of this and that..slapped stickers 3x what you would usually by them for, and threw them up on the shelf.

Food is great, prices are very reasonable, staff is lovely, everything is great except for the owner. The reason I gave two stars is because of his disrespectful and disgusting attitude. He was snarky and it was uncomfortable from the moment I walked in. As I'm waiting for my food I overhear him calling me the r word (r*tard) I was too hungry to say anything since my food was already being made, but I'd figure I'd let people know who you'll be dealing with. Regardless if I misheard if he was directing it to me or not, I clearly heard him say this word and no establishment should be okay with letting their employees say vulgur things like that around and/or about customers. I have a sister with a mental disability and I was appalled by his choice of words and behavior.
