Centric Plaza - Pollença

Enjoyed this place very much even though I had a lager land in my lap the staff could not have been more helpful. Went back and had a really super meal the following evening with family. Great atmosphere.

So we were a large party inc two kids (one of which is under 2) and we were getting a bit desperate esp as it was threatening to rain all evening. We stumbled across centric which was empty and looked pretty upmarket and not the sort of place to take kids. However the staff were charming and were v welcoming. The food was really nice can recommend the suckling pig and the sea bass both were delicious. The staff were attentive without being obtrusive and we didn’t think it was bad value for the 8 of us esp as it felt like a special meal. Would definitely recommend.

We have been great fans of Centric in Puerto Pollensa and of Onze in Pollensa, so were pleased to try their latest venture. It offers a very different menu but has the same style and quality that we have come to expect. We were there on a Saturday evening and had pre booked which considering how busy it got is an essential. There were only 3 front of house staff but they were brisk and efficient and coped very well (especially as there had been a thunderstorm a few hours earlier and they were still mopping up from that. Our two mains were very different I had oxtail in red wine which was rich with a real depth of flavour. My wife had cod with orange glaze which whilst delicious was about the size of a starter It was supposed to be served on a bed of rosemary potatoes which amounted to three slices so thin that there were translucent. Centric have always had a good reputation for desserts and this tradition has been kept up. The house wine was quite acceptable and a couple of strong cortados were a fitting end to the meal.

We have been here twice during our stay in Pollenca, and the food has been top quality and the service amazing each time. Both for us adults, and for the 2 girls aged 18. We really recommend this great restaurant:
