Basil's Market & Deli - Port Hope

I decided to stop by Port Hope on a Saturday afternoon for a meal and decided to try out this restaurant. The atmosphere was very clean and cozy.

Unfortunately, the soup that I ordered to go was very disappointing.

Basil's Market and Deli has a breakfast and lunch menu, coffees, pastries, Kawartha lakes ice cream and other made-to-order, standard cafe items.

Great food, reasonably priced, small-town friendly service. Busy, not as fast as McDonald. Worth the wait!

Once we discovered Basil's, we never miss a visit while visiting the Port Hope Area! I have recommended this eatery to many and have yet to have someone tell me they were disappointed! Everything is delicious and the service is, as if you were enjoying a meal at your own table! Always pleasantly greeted and warm smiles aplenty! I am often torn with my decisions but usually end up getting the turkey club panini....DELICIOUS!
