Her menu looked very vegan friendly. we asked if they could make their basil frying without a rush. on the basis of a previous review, it seemed as if they were to behave. the hostess went in the back to ask the kitchen whether they could make fried rice without ice and the chef went into a tirade. he was obviously insulted in our boldness, even asking and not knowing that we could hear him, went on and on, how absurd it is to make fried rice without ice, and that it would be disgusting, but he would try to make it. unnecessary to say that we do not want this person to make our food, so we went and went to 123 thai around the corner.
Good vegetarian pho (w/ veggie broth) and tofu spring rolls. a good selection of sweets in the pho. they also made us basil roast rice (without eggs), that was wonderful.

We had a wonderful meal here. The food is delicious and so fresh. I felt back in Vietnam. Simple but beautiful outdoor terrace.
