J J's Pizza Shack Of Hobart - Portage

I ordered a pizza and breadsticks. The pizza was just average, and the breadsticks were undercooked and raw, making them inedible. They also looked unappealing and dirty. The overall quality was disappointing compared to other places in Lake Station and Portage. I only stopped here because I was nearby, but I won't be returning.

I have been going to J j's for years. Typically do not go to the hobart one. Was visiting at st marys so I thought it would be convienant. Got a deep dish pizza and garlic bread. one whole side of crust on pizza was burnt. The bread had zero garlic andtasted like old butter. Not a good experience. I think I'll stick with Portage and lake station.

This is not first visit there always do the recommendation and of course and dogs again eating a kitchen sink Pizza which will fantastic! However, I ordered a three meat pizza which was pepperoni, sausage, bacon and the only received a pepperoni pizzathat was over greasy. I personally, other than kitchen sink Pizza we're not recommend this place to anyone. The props up to thefollowing list of their staff!

The Hobart location closes at 11 PM on Saturdays, contrary to the 1 AM listed on their current menu. While hours can differ by location, one would expect the menus to accurately reflect the specifics of each site. Google appears to have the correct information, so it seems like someone may have been too lazy or inconsiderate to update the menus. Due to this experience, I will be taking my future business elsewhere. I admit this may come off as overly dramatic, but early restaurant closures are a significant annoyance for me for various reasons. I hope this feedback is useful for others. Additionally, I might have had a more positive response upon finding out they close at 11 PM if the person who answered my call had been a bit more courteous rather than sarcastic and rude, or if they hadn’t hung up on me. Just a thought.

I had a terrible experience with the service today. It took over an hour and a half for my delivery to arrive. I ordered an extra-large taco pizza, a double order of fries, and 24 wings—half buffalo and half barbecue. Unfortunately, everything was cold upon arrival. They only delivered buffalo wings, omitting the barbecue entirely. I also requested my lettuce on the side, but they sent just a very small cup that was barely enough for one person for an extra-large pizza. I called to complain about the cold food and the missing wings, and their response was to offer me $5 off my next delivery!
