Degarios Italian - Portland

My wife and I arrived at 6PM and the place was pretty empty, which meant we could sit anywhere and it was quiet. They had a good mix of background music playing. It was pleasant and not too loud. We shared wine and a Caesar salad, both good. She had lobster ravioli which was great and I had veal parmigiana which was good. The veal plate had a huge amount of food and came with gnocchi and green beans. I ended up taking half of it home. Service was great. We'll be back.

It's not cheap eats but the food has been excellent. My wife loved her meal, and this is where she wanted to go back to when given the opportunity.Wheelchair accessibility: It's not the most accessible building with a sloped parking lot and few accessible parking options, the seating is open table and there is decent spacing to make it maneuverable.

We had a wonderful experience at Degario's Ristorante! The waiter was kind and attentive, the atmosphere was inviting, and the food was delicious! I particularly enjoyed the Shrimp Gemelli, a flavorful pasta dish with shrimp and zucchini in a tangy wine sauce topped with a generous amount of parmesan cheese. It was so good that just thinking about it makes my mouth water! My husband ordered his go-to dish, chicken parm, and he also gave it a 5-star rating. We are eager to return and try more of their menu offerings.

This restaurant strives to be the top Italian restaurant in the Portland area. From the outside, it appears to be a typical mall eatery. Inside, it is slightly better - one large room filled with plastic-coated wooden tables, no booths. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. We enjoyed two out of three entrees. The lasagna was very good and the gnocchi with Italian rubbed pork tenderloin was excellent. However, the shrimp in saffron risotto was a disappointment as the yellow substance in the dish was not risotto. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food we received, but the overall atmosphere and cuisine did not quite meet the standards of a high-end Italian restaurant.

A really nice Italian place. Food was really good, service and atmosphere were excellent.
