Dolicious - Portland

Dolicious is fantastic. I decided to try their lemongrass tofu bahn mi after trying bahn mi from the nearby Bahn Mi Up Kitchen for comparison. Dolicious was the clear winner. Not only is their bahn mi a better value at $8 versus $11, but their tofu bahn mi was also tastier than both Bahn Mi Up Kitchen's lemongrass chicken and tofu bahn mi. The bread was soft, and the sandwich was generously filled with protein and slaw. This is what a proper bahn mi should taste like.

The best Bahn Mi in Portland can be found at this Vietnamese food truck. The bread is cooked to perfection, flakey with just the right amount of crunch. Each ingredient is bursting with flavor without being overwhelming. The owner is incredibly friendly and it's a mystery why there isn't a line every day. Plus, it's conveniently located next to a beer truck, making it the perfect spot to grab a drink while you wait.

Delicious tofu bowl and really loved the spicy peanut sauce! Very nice owner/chef!

The food at this restaurant is fantastic and reasonably priced. I can't wait for them to open because I'm craving their delicious bánh mi sandwich!
