They have been in business for a year now and while it was quiet on the Wednesday night I visited, I really hope that things are busier most of the week, because the food is fantastic! There are seats to dine in, but you order from the front counter and then they bring the food to you. Each dish is freshly prepared to order, and it is well worth the 20-minute wait. I had the pasta with steak, and I can't tell you how flavorful both the pasta and steak were! The portion size was enough to feed 3 people, so I clearly did not eat it all. The bread that came with it was also very good. It was kind of like the Olive Garden bread sticks, but it has a cheesy crust and rich flavor. I really liked it. I tried their Playa Punch, which is a combination of juices mixed with real fruit. It tasted really good and fresh. One of the owners checked in on me while I was eating to see how I liked everything and that is when I learned they had been there for a year. If you like soul food or just great home cooking, you should really try this place. No frills, just really great food served by a very friendly staff.
