Jantzen Beach Bar and Grill - Portland

We didn't know until 2 days before the Valentine's Day that this restaurant was no longer on the water and moved to the entrance! I tried to find other places to reserve, but of course it was too late for V-Day at this point. we went in and went back directly when this looked like a cafeteria setting!

Our server was professional and welcoming, attentive, but not overwhelming. my burger had nothing to do with it. no salate, tomato, etc. it was cooked as I ordered myself with them. one of our party had a hair in her salat, but the waitress removed her charge. the hair was under her salat so that she ate haad 90% of it before it was discovered. but all in all, we would be back, it was a good experience. would like to see the Sunday buffet coming back.

Beautiful view, good food and good service by waitstaff. I would go back and take friends at any time.

Hotel was in construction and the menu on opentable was not the same that was offered on the table. we were very disappointed with the menu selection. the food and the service were good, but the quality of the food was moderate compared to the price.

From the dining room there is a beautiful view of the Columbia River. The fare is pretty standard for a grill and bar. The fried fish is good as are the fries. A good place for a quick meal with a great view.
