Le Happy Crêperie - Portland

The restaurant is located in a charming old building, and there's one chef who prepares everything himself. The menu features crepes and cocktails, along with additional options in the evening. We visited for brunch and found the place to be small but delightful. There's nothing overly extravagant, but it's perfect for a laid-back outing. The food was good—exactly what you would expect from a crêperie—at very reasonable prices. If you're in the mood for a simple, casual little spot, I definitely recommend giving it a try.

Next, I tried the smoked salmon and cream cheese crepe. It was incredible. I really enjoyed the buckwheat flour, as it added a nice depth of flavor to the dish. It was perfectly balanced with dill and capers, and it complemented my drink beautifully. For dessert, I had the citron and strawberry crepe. Wow! It was so delicious. I can’t wait to return and try more of the menu—everything was truly amazing.

Chuck Palahniuk recommended this place in his travel guide, and it has been one of the best dining experiences we've had since then. The crepes are exceptional, and their cocktails are equally amazing.

I highly recommend this place! Both the savory and sweet menus are fantastic, and they don’t charge extra for gluten-free crepes! Just keep in mind that they have only one crepe griddle, so it's not ideal if you're in a hurry.

Great crepes, great service! We loved it! This is a cute little place. Coffee is served with a 'sugar stir. My granddaughter loved that the most!
