Their restaurant has a very family feel and the food I’ve gotten had always been delicious. My family consists of vegans as well as meat eaters and there’s something for everyone here. They even make their paneer dish with an option to go vegan which I am very impressed by. The pakora and samosas are always a go-to. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a delicious locally sourced meal.
The chicken naan wrap is amazing. First, the sheer size is breathtaking. Secondly, it will fill you up for the day!
Went here while waiting for a tow truck after my car died. Honestly, I didn't notice the sign and had no idea what kind of food they had, I just wanted to be indoors and went to the nearest open restaurant. But I'm glad I did! I got a chicken wrap and it was very good. Also had some wine which was reasonably priced and a few steps up from Sutter Home (which is what a lot of casual dining places serve, for the same price per glass. The atmosphere is relaxed and the restaurant is open and airy. The employees were friendly but not intrusive. I was there for a couple of hours, and it helped turn an unpleasant situation into a nice relaxing solo lunch. Highly recommend!
As an Indian trying Indian food in US can be disappointing, but Open Tandoor certainly has to be the exception. I tried the chicken wrap which is essentially chicken wrapped inside garlic naan. Host was exceptional. Open Tandoor has to be one of my must try, in Portland
I’ve been missing good Indian food. Nice staff, complimentary chai! This place has good spices, excellent flavor. Tandoor, means open kitchen. Clean, fresh, casual, atmosphere. I’ll be back!
