Roxy's Island Grill - Portland

Absolutely fantastic! The place was quite busy, but my order was ready in about 5 minutes. It exceeded all my expectations—utterly delicious. I couldn’t find a single flaw. Please don’t ever change! It was my first visit, and I think I’m going to be addicted! Food: 5/5

What a hardworking team! I visited around 11:30 AM on a day when the cook didn't show up. Despite the setback, these three gentlemen jumped into action and made the best of the situation. I was welcomed right away, even though they were busy with five tables occupied and four takeout orders. They informed me that they were short-staffed and running about 20 minutes behind schedule. I watched them tackle the challenge with determination. The food was consistently good, and they managed to surpass that 20-minute delay!

I recently ordered food from this Roxy’s location and had a frustrating experience. I highly recommend visiting a different location instead. I paid an extra $4 for teriyaki sauce on the side, but it seemed like the staff were annoyed by my request. As a result, I received no sauce at all, and my meat was unfortunately cooked dry without any flavor. When I got home and noticed the missing sauce, I tried to call, but they hung up on me. It feels like the staff here are quite immature and not suited for their roles. If you're looking for quality food and respectful service, I recommend making the drive to Roxy’s in Oregon City or Canby—their food is significantly better.

Been coming here regularly for a few years now and it’s going downhill. The floors are nasty, the woman taking the orders makes it clear she doesn’t want to be there and makes it an awkward and unwelcoming experience for everyone in the store, every single time (I could understand having an “off” day but that’s not what’s happening)Food quality went from excellent to abysmal and I just can’t see myself giving them anymore chances and wasting my money any longer.
