Urban German Wursthaus - Portland

Went here last weekend for lunch, shortly as after they opened, and had a great time bartender/server was nice and food was delicious. Didn't have to wait long either. There was a nice patio with big fans to keep cool. Currywurst might have been my favorite!

Great outdoor space with an amazing view of the St Johns Bridge. We would totally come here again. We had the beer wurst and the pork schnitzel. Really tasty. We would definitely come back here, and whenever you can say that in Portland, it's a winner!

A little over priced, but the happy hour makes the prices normal again. I've been here a few times now and had some issues with service. The staff is a little bit hands-off, lack of communication between front and back. Once our food was delivered to an empty table out of our sight. The server must have passed by that empty table full of food 7 or 8 times before we asked the host what's up. They begrudgingly remade the order and it came out completely wrong. Haven't had any further problems. It was a fluke, but the people are not talking to each other. Dog friendly patio is a plus.

Parking is....interesting. But the food was fantastic! I got vegan wurst and a pretzel fab! My son got chicken schnitzel and, picky eater he is, at the potatoes AND cabbage too!

This place is so fun. One the best views when sitting outside right by St. John's bridge. The beer selection is very interesting, all German style beers in big tankards. The food is fantastic. I used to think it was expensive but they haven't changed their prices during this whole year of mega-inflation when everyone else did and now they practicially seem cheap by comparison. So I would recommend 10/10.
