The Lime Tree Cafe - Portlaoise

Do not let the small town setting deceive you - this restaurant is a fantastic place to dine. The staff are extremely friendly and efficient, always willing to accommodate any request. The breakfast is delicious, and our Sunday lunch of roast beef, vegetables, Yorkshire pudding, turkey, and ham was cooked to perfection. The two desserts we had were also very tasty. To top it off, we enjoyed two great cups of hot coffee. Highly recommended.

Visited with family for a late breakfast. Service, food, and customer focus exceeded expectations. Staff here have a very clear understanding customer care and delivery of service. Great food at an affordable price.

I've been to the lime tree on numerous occasions and to say it's amazing is an understatement. From the staff, decor, ambience and of course the food everything is top notch. The food is fresh, plentiful, wholesome and of course excellent value for money. The staff are attentive and very accommodating, a credit to management. Don't get me started on the coffee and desserts

We couldn't have picked a better spot for lunch in Castlecomer. The staff were all very efficient and friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the food was affordable with a wide variety of options to choose from. I wish there was a place like this closer to where I live.
