Island Grill - Pottsboro

As a restaurant owner, it's difficult for me to praise other establishments, but everything we had during our visit was fantastic! The catfish was fresh, and the bread was crisp and flavorful without overpowering the fish's taste. The southwest egg rolls were delightful—crispy and bursting with flavor. It was clear that the oil used for frying was fresh and not old at all. My only reason for not giving a full five stars is that the staff could have been more attentive. They weren't particularly busy, yet they barely acknowledged us as they walked by, and our food took a little longer to arrive. However, this won't deter us from coming back happily!

This is our second time here and we really enjoyed the restaurant, the food and the view! We have a cry to Lyndsey of our waitress! She's amazing. My father had a five-dollar plane on the cliffs. Lindsey immediately carefully went down the rocks and picked up this $5. She has such a funny personality, the service was over!

Good food and good mood. Probably not the best meal you ever had, but definitely good food. Great atmosphere overlooking the lake and many parking spaces for your boat or car.

The atmosphere, food, drinks, and location were all fantastic. They had opened the terrace, and even though it's early in the season, the place was packed. It's renowned for its drinks, delicious food, and live music. The island certainly lived up to its reputation!

Nice atmosphere. Great scenery. Staff is professional and friendly and attentive. Drinks are a little strong (mixed drinks) and priced about right. Stay away from the pizza, unless you miss your old skating rink days. Overall, probably would be back for another visit.
