I was there at 2pm they are closed till 4 but there was 23 people there also that thought they were open including us. Google is a little off. But food was good just thought for $12 there would at least be 6 cheese sticks but there was only 5.
The food was quite mediocre considering the price. I feel like you’re really just paying for the location by the lake. The menu mainly features basic sandwiches at inflated prices. For $16, I expected more than just a small 6-inch roll with a tiny amount of meat. My wife barely touched her fried catfish, which also cost an outrageous $16. To top it off, the restaurant interior had a lot of flies, which didn’t make for an enjoyable dining experience. On a positive note, the service was friendly and quick.
This restaurant is located right by the marina, offering some lovely views, making it a great spot for locals in the Texoma area to visit regularly. The waitress was friendly, and the live band added a nice touch to the atmosphere. However, I rated this place poorly due to the food. The calamari tasted like it came straight from a frozen box, which was quite disappointing. The club sandwich was overly simplistic, resembling something a child could have made. If the management addresses these food quality issues and recognizes the importance of serving a great meal, I would definitely think about returning.
We visit the Island Grill regularly and love the atmosphere above all else. However, tonight we experienced an unusually long wait for a table, and the food and service were disappointing. I usually enjoy the nachos, but this time they were lacking pico de gallo, the cheese had settled at the bottom, and the steak was overly salted. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
