Despensa A Nova - Proenca-A-Nova

Stayed here in April 2016 for three nights whilst house hunting in the area. Really well kept, clean and charming hotel, with excellent parking and good facilities including a very nice pool (which we did not use as the weather is still a little cool for us) Food in the restaurant offers lots of local dishes as well as enough international fair to cater to most tastes. Service is first class and the quality and price is very good. We drank local wines which were wonderful and vey well priced. The staff here are excellent and speak vey good english, so for those of us that are still challenged by Portuguese there are no communication problems. The only negative is that the WiFi is pretty poor in all areas apart from reception. Not a massive problem but slightly inconvenient, otherwise I would have no problem in recommending and would stay again without hesitation.
