Very good decor and ambience. We had the warm shredded beat salad which was excellent. Salad is something people automatically consider 'healthy therefore tasteless ' but this was a nice blend of flavours. The mussels were very tasty and is perfect soaked in bread. Definitely money 's worth. Highlight is the dessert French pastry known as pithivier. Lets say it 's a go compare croissant liked with almond cream topped wig Creme anglaise and a scoop of home made coffee bean ice cream. A Must have for all. The trio if custard was of impeccable quality but a little heavy. I wasn 't a fan of the eggnog one though. All in all a great place albeit a limited menu in terms of options.
1st timer. Had succulent clams to start followed by seared sea scallops on top of a baked polenta. Also had the tomato salad. it was probably one of the top 10 meals I've ever had. If I lived here I would go every week--it's that good. Service was spot on with tempo and kindness. It's a place you take your best friends to.
A 5-Star Find!. Incredible food, wonderful ambience, and excellent service -what more could you ask for? For appetizers, the presentation and preparation of assorted pates and cheeses was absolutely flawless. We sampled the Bomster scallops, roast duck, and bavette steak for our entrees; all were expertly prepared and mouth-watering to the very last bite. The desserts were similarly well-crafted and impossible to pass up. The peach upside-down cake with bleu cheese was a religious experience. A great place for a romantic date or a group of good friends. One can feel comfortable in jeans or formal wear.
Always feels like home!. A few years ago my fiancee and I were on prowl for a great restaurant that we could go to for special occasions and everything else in between. In order to properly preface this we have discriminating palates and are quite foodie when you get down to the nitty gritty. Through a series of reviews and message boards we found our way to Chez Pascal and have been loyalists ever since. The restaurant itself has a very warm atmosphere with an eclectic decor and more often than not the lady of the house, Kristin, is the person who greets you at the door and brings you to your table. The menu changes seasonally and most if not all of their food is sourced from local...read more
