Steak Express - Provo

The steak everything sandwich was kind of dry, but the fries and root beer float were really really good! But like seriously...the fries were the best I 've had in a long time. Overall I thought it was affordable and delicious and will go back soon!

Cute little spot to eat. Their fries and chips are very good. One time I did ask for chips and they gave me fries instead, which I didn't notice until I had left. Not a ton of vegetarian options (it is a steak express haha), but their grilled cheese is yummy and pairs nicely with the fries!

Have visited #SteakExpress several times here are a few comments from each visit and some of what I’ve tried.Enjoyed a #PhillyCheeseSteak sandwich, #onionrings, and #butterscotch #shake from Steak Express. Located in the old Stan’s location. Wonderful mushrooms and veggies in the sandwich, besides the meat and cream cheese. Onion rings are battered and fried crisp. Nice cool shake to counterpoint the savory sandwich. Definitely a go to place, I never went to the place on the west side but I’ll be going to Steak Express again!I’ve written about Steak Express steak sandwiches before and their yummy #onionrings. However this time I ordered their #LocomotiveBurger. Which I enjoyed more than expected. It is like it was made for me. Mushrooms and onions piled on the burger with a nice sliced pickle. It had BBQ sauce on it, which is what I often put on my Burgers when I make my own. I decided to avoid the starchy carbs of yummy fries or onion rings, and went with a side salad. The side salad was larger than expected, made with a pile of mixed greens and lettuce. Sliced cucumber and tomato, and carrots. Steak Express always exceeds my expectations and they have never disappointed me.I’ve also enjoyed many flavors of shakes, often their shake of the month. I’ve enjoyed #ClamChowder, a nice change from their burgers and cheeseSteak sandwiches, and their Cod #FishAndChips all have been very tasty.

This was an amazing place with such phenomenal customer service! I got the wrong order so they took it back and got me what I actually ordered and have me back my money! I will recommend this place to everyone I know!!!!

We discovered this place accidentally last night when we were looking for a place to get a treat after an event at BYU. We tried the sundaes, root beer floats, and banana splits all of which were fantastic! The quality of the ice cream is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. A few of us ended up ordering sandwiches, too, when we realized we hadn't eaten dinner. High marks for the patty melt and smokestack sandwich!! We loved it so much that we went back tonight and this time we also had the onion rings, which are the best ones we've ever had, by far!! We went through the drive through this time and even after the drive home they were still the crispiest ever. The service is friendly, food is prepared fresh, prices are excellent. We are huge fans!!!!!Kid friendliness: The railroad theme is cute and kids love the train whistle be the door that you can pull on the way out!
