Huwon - Puebla

Can’t express with words how delicious their food is.

Not bad for Korean food in Mexico. Could use a few more of the pickled vegetables you would find in other Korean joints. But overall pretty good. Plan on sharing plates, portions are good size. 2 plates fed our family of four. Most plates 100 pesos.

Surprised to find this very authentic Korean restaurant in Puebla. The owner has been working as a cook for a Korean car company in Mexico for several years before he opened his own restaurant in Puebla more than ten years ago. If you like Korean BBQ and Kim-chi, this is the restaurant when you are in Puebla.

In Korea, we say where there is good Kimchi, there is good food. Huwon serves real authentic Korean kimch. That is why all other dishes are as well delicious! An authentic Korean restaurant owned by an older Korean couple they know what they are doing! The dolsot bibimbap and the dwenjang jigae were delicious. Can ask for vegetarian versions. 맛있게 드세요!
