Perfect place to run away to on a rainy winters day , food is amazing and full of flavour at a good price , staff are welcoming and friendly in a cool little historic village

Beautiful little spot at the end of the road. Great food! Baked goods made in house. I ordered the tacos and they were so good! Very impressed. Was hoping to try the poke bowl but they sold out. Go early if you want to have your pick :

Beautiful breakfast and coffee, with a stunning view. Friendly service too! : oh and we got some brioche for the road. WOW both were amazing!!

The Boat Shed Cafe in Rawene is a gem for this area. There is nothing like it in the nearby Omapere/Opononi area, so if you are passing through make sure you grab a bite to eat and coffee, both of which were great, not forgetting to mention the awe-inspiring view over the Hokianga harbour from the outside section of the cafe.

Food was excellent. Had the salmon poke bowl which was excellent to eat. The staff I are friendly and very knowledgeable. What makes it an truly awesome experience is the view. A must if you are in the area
