A beautiful, great private community formed 1976 with @2500 sites, cabins, lots, 80 mi of roads to locations, an honored recognized Volunteer Fire Dept. at Crystal Lakes who work w/other depts as needed. Helipad in Red Feather Lakes but also at landing strip at Crystal. Abundant wildlife and clear lakes...great fishing.

Our HOA is the biggest mess on the face of this planet!!!

Buy some place else. I will be putting my property on the Market due to the invasiveness of the HOA. God forbid you want to build a shed or even a cabin. The rules and regulations are choking your freedoms. They charge additional fees for the HOA building permits that are higher than all surrounding communities. They tell you what you can build, where you can build it and charge you more for the permits to do so... extra permits above the county. God forbid you want to enjoy the outdoors and ride your dirt bike or ATV. Someone will complain and want to fine you. Not to mention the gate guards (residents) in peak season who want to check if you belong... even though you have a Crystal lakes Sticker in your windshield. I could go on forever..... My property is for sale and I hope the next owner does not read this post.... If you are a seasonal camper forget it! You may be an owner and pay the same HOA dues but you are a second class citizen. The HOA does everything to discourage you from using YOUR property. This is a classic case of an HOA who is out of control....

The office staff are always helpful with getting our annual passes, fishing passes, visitor passes, and general information.

For the past 3 years we have been coming to Crystal Lake we have found nothing but a friendly staff , always doing everything they can to make an enjoyable place to be . The office staff always has a smile and welcoming attitude ..
