Captain D's - Richmond

Normally, I would go inside and place my order but, I went through the drive thru and my order gets messed up. I ordered the big fish with cheese, fries and 10 piece butterfly shrimp, and Pepsi. My sandwich had no cheese and slathered with tartar sauce and no fries in the bag!! It looks like I will be going inside from now on!!

I ordered a deluxe seafood platter. I feel the food is overpriced for what you get. I expected more for $14-$16. The breaded shrimp and mac is my favorite. I like the cocktail sauce. I don’t like the tatar sauce or breaded fish. I love the fish chips. Nice and salty. The stuffed crab was thanksgiving stuffing with 2 pieces of bell pepper. There was almost no meat in crab shell,just bread and 2 shreds of crab in it and you couldn’t even taste it. The hush puppies were plain,no onions,chives or shallots like traditional hp. The fries were not crunchy but kinda soggy. The flavor was decent,I ate them with the mac. The food wasn’t good but not bad.

I know they have a high turn-around here but the ladies who were there that night made sure my food was fresh. I had to pull up so she could serve the other customers which was professional. And when they brought my food to me or was correct and it was hot! Thank you

It's the customer service for me This location is much better than the one near my house. The staff is attentive and pleasant while they work on Christmas Eve I appreciate y'all!

Food was good, chicken was small, had to wait go inside
