Kabana Rooftop - Richmond

This restaurant appears upscale, but the service is lacking. I was hesitant when I found out that gratuity was included as the quality of service can vary. Unfortunately, everything was bad here. The first two dishes I wanted to order, lotus root and shishito peppers, were not available. It was frustrating not being informed of unavailable items upon arrival or when ordering. Each time a dish was unavailable, it took about 20-30 minutes to be notified. I then tried to order the crab wontons, but they were also out of stock.

In line waiting to be seated. After a few minutes, my husband finally arrived and we were eventually shown to our table. The server took our order promptly and the food arrived quickly. However, the service throughout the meal was lacking. The server rarely checked on us and we had to flag them down multiple times for drink refills. Overall, the view was definitely the highlight of the experience, but the poor service left a bad taste in our mouths.

This restaurant offers a beautiful, scenic view of Richmond. It is possibly the best rooftop restaurant in the area. I recently attended a team event here, but the only downside was the rude staff. Overall, it is a great place for the view, but not ideal for hosting events.

Food was decent but the atmosphere was awesome. They happened to have salsa night the night we went. I ordered the chicken picatta and the guacamole. Both were lacking some flavor, but not disgusting. The view is absolutely amazing. Not sure if there is a better view in Richmond. Will definitely come back if I?m ever in Richmond again.

This place was more then great even on a night with not a lot going on. The views were great the atmosphere was amazing. Food and drinks was delicious! We had a amazing server her name was Erin definitely ask for her if you can she was the absolute best! Food and drinks came out really fast! I can?t wait to return here
