We are going there for last 12 years. This place has very good memories. I will recommend this place for quality foods. 11 years back, I started chicken biryani at 120 rupees now it's become 250 rupees. .

The food is amazing, behaviour of staff and atmosphere are great. Cost of food is reasonable. The veg thali price 125+GST. Clean and comfortable atmosphere. I dine in with my family, and everyone are satisfied. In future, I will visit again.

Old and Gold! Samrat being the oldest restaurant in Serampore holds one of the top place. We went there 2 days ago and the experience was quite great. Although, for a special occasion Jamai Sosthi) their menu was limited and we couldn't get what we wanted. Nevertheless, the food they served specially the mutton biriyani and prawn dish was quite tasteful. We liked the atmosphere too and it was quite crowded that day. Moreover, the staffs were also welcoming so no complaints on that too. Overall hygiene was also maintained well. Also I find this restaurant to be one of the most affordable ones in Serampore. So, if you are coming with your friends and families to have some quality time with some great food this place is a recommended one for sure. Happy dining!

My favorite destination of eating at serampore. I love his ambiente. the service is very fast, but if u will order Chinese cuisine, then it will be a bit when time. no doubt about its taste and its quality. the place us very cozy abd equally good for time with family nd frnds. I ate: a. mixed gravy noodles b. hongkong huh probably makes the best engraving noodles. must be highly satisfied and recommended.

We ordered chicken hot and sour soup that was really very good. then we ordered mix fried rice with chili chicken,beide quality and quantity are better. the quality of the huh was also very good, the quality of the rice was good and the test was perfect. the quantity is perfect after the price of the food. we ordered fish roasts and the fish roasts were good enough. the quality was good. the filling was very soft. we really enjoy eating this day. we come to service,If the service is a little fast, it is better. we had to wait long for this food. the personal behavior is very good and the restaurant ambiente is very good. it is a great place to spend time with family and friends.
