Le Cleebourg - Rottelsheim

I recommend trying this restaurant. We were there with my friend during our business trip. We wanted to try french specialities. We have ordered frogs and snails. It was absolutely perfect. The taste, the look, everything top class. Next time I will order it too. The lady who served us was also very friendly. We have also eaten delicious dessert.

Having extolled the lunch time menu on a visit last year two visits for dinner in 2018 have left me less than impressed. It all sounds so good yet the execution is unfortunately mediocre. On the set menu a good first course salad. Fish main course okayish but nothing special. Dessert soufflé turned out to be use cream with seasonal fruit as half a strawberry and one raspberry. This is June with local fields full of strawberries! Today the main course of chicken with green asparagus. The asparagus was squashed inside the chicken and had the texture of mashed potatoes. It was served with croquet potatoes, deep fried mash. Freshly fried I'm sure but not to my taste. A different dessert managed a whole strawberry, quartered And one raspberry. The wine sold by the jug was good and well priced. It is next door to the Cave Vinicole. Perhaps I'll come back for a lunch menu in future, but not for dinner.

A modern restaurant with good food and nice views. If you want the full experience of Alsace, choose a restaurant in a traditional, older hof, but for more modern ambience, Le Cleebourg is a nice choice. Friendly staff.

We wanted to visit the adjacent wine producer and arrived when the were closed for lunch. The shiny new hotel next door offered an opportunity and all the outside tables had been taken on this sunny afternoon. We were seated inside with views over the Rhine Valley towards Germany. We were offered and accepted the set lunch menu. Interesting food and well presented by friendly and attentive staff. When we came to pay the bill it was very modest and provided exceptional value.

Première visite dans ce restaurant et sûrement pas la dernière!!!Une carte variée avec des produits de qualité. Des plats excellents et très bien servis. Un service irréprochable et des prix corrects. Nous conseillons vivement ce restaurant.Très belle terrasse et jolie vue.
