We spent the morning at Mossman Gorge and then had lunch at Mayi Café. Don't miss out on this delicious experience. We tried every cake and they were all amazing. The damper was also delicious. The staff were wonderful, making it a beautiful experience. Make sure to visit this place on your adventures.
Just to clarify, we did not dine here! It was closed at 1pm on Wednesday, with a parking lot full of disappointed visitors. It seems to be the go-to place to eat when visiting ****, but only if you're looking to have a meal at 11am. After being turned away, we ended up going back to Mossman to find somewhere to eat, eventually finding a place around 1:30pm.
We went into this caffe as part of an organized tour. eating was very good and the service was also good. great to see that a local company works to provide hospitality experience and skills for local first nations coworkers. recommend the barramundi (of course!
The food at Mayi is so good. We had the barramundi and kangaroo salad both very fresh and tasty. A nice surprise!
