Lulu's In Round Top

Staff amazing. Food was excellent. I was both surprised and impressed by this beautiful little, beautiful restaurant.

The city visitor who celebrated my wife's birthday was not quite impressed. Other than eating above average, it wasn't much. Service was not good, staff was way, relaxed and not productive. Expectations have not been met for this customer, as I said, food was above average, but price-to-place ratio eh feel like I wasn't worth entirely money, but that was my opinion.

Our family was at Hotel Lulu for the weekend in mid-May, and it was our first time to visit Round Top. We chose Sunday brunch in Lulus. It was not an exhausting weekend, but we have made bookings via the link on the website of Lulu anyway, although it cannot always be necessary if you get there early or call before. The location and ambience in the historic building was amazing. All employees were very attentive and polite. We enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere for a relaxed conversation and a hearty meal together with the family was wonderful. We had the steak and eggs and Braised Short Ribs, both were very tasty and fill. I will say that options for a diabetic or those who consume low carbohydrates, no carbohydrates or no starches and would rather have a green vegetables with their brunch, lunch or dinner limited options. So, if there are dietary concerns regarding a health condition, you need to plan your meal elections before time. The sugar pollinated Bombolini aka Bomboloni Italian Donuts were made fresh to order and were the perfect end to a great meal.

Food/flavor was nowhere near where it should have been for its reputation and price
