Maple Tree - Saggart

I would highly recommend this restaurant. Felt very safe re Covid. Tables all socially distanced and divided with Perspex dividers. Toilets spotless. Hand sanitizer aplenty. Clear signage re distancing and areas prohibited to public. As for the food!! Fab food. Great menu very varied. Food piping hot on hot plates. Portions very good. Open plan kitchen where chefs can be seen. The nicest meal we as a family have had in a long time. Wish it was on our doorstep. We travelled from Dun Laoghaire

The food never fails to amaze me in this restaurant.... freshly cooked, piping hot and tasty. First visit to it since covid-19. I was well impressed with the social distancing between the tables.. perspex screen between each, staff wearing face visors, everything spotless. Will be back again. Well done Maple Tree

Rude management that don’t appreciate good custom during pandemic.. paid heavily for poorly cooked food and management were abusive to me ... presumptious and insulting

We stopped by for a quick lunch, our food wasn’t bad, my soft drink was served to me half full and the lady who served us was stern and uninviting. Overall the atmosphere for a Saturday lunchtime was bleak but if you’re only there for a quick bite then I might be worth it. For me, I felt like we were overcharged a little and the service left a lot to be desired.

Neither of which I will be doing. The food was mediocre and the burger was undercooked. The curry had rubber chicken well disguised with a lot of veg. However, the table beside us had fish which looked tasty enough. Maybe it was the time of day but atmosphere was at zero. I won't be going back.
