De La Maronne - Saint-Martin-Valmeroux

Stayed at this lovely hotel and restaurant for a couple of days. The restaurant is delicious and the service very attentive but discreet. The hotel is also fabulous in an enchanting decor. You will not be disappointed !

The cuisine was fabulous. My husband had the guinea fowl and the rest of us had the steak. All were phenomenal. The creme brulee was the best I've ever had and a specialty of the chef. Everything was delicious, the server recommended wine that was excellent, and the service was top-notch.

Great little place to stay and great food in the restaurant with pleasant staff,the owner is very pleasant and Maxine the waiter was very good and helpful and friendly

The setting in lovely countryside is just the beginning. The hotel is like a country house with very nice decor and furnishings. There is a swimming pool and tennis court and excellent country walks. The lovely medieval fortified town of Salers is 10 minutes away it is one of France's top most beautiful villages. The restaurant menu is very good, the service and the food excellent. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is that its pricey.
