Outerlands - San Andreas

I enjoyed this restaurant for its food. The service was okay. As a midwesterner, I'm still getting used to San Francisco nice which is a good 5 notches below Midwestern nice. Anyhow, ultimately our burrata was fabulous (seriously the best I've ever had, our duck egg salad was awesome, drinks were great, bread was next level, one of our entrees was good the other was meh, dessert was very meh. At the end of the day, I'd come back, but not for a special occasion as I thought it was very casual and not a great place to celebrate a birthday.

Had been here before and wasn't impressed, this time though is was very good. Everything was perfect.

Distinctive and a pleasure all around. Nice cocktails too! Looking forward to next time.

We live nearby and love having a local spot. Love those Brussel sprouts.

This was my second visit to Outerlands, the first for my wife. We had a great evening. The food is excellent. The fresh-baked warm bread is as good as any you will ever get. The service is excellent. Outerlands is the definitive Neighborhood Gem. Makes me wish we lived in the Outer Sunset. The restaurant is easy to get to via Muni. There is a stop on the N-Judah about 100 ft from their front door.
