Seccarelli Ristorante - San Andreas

Pefect night again. The Burrata app was amazing. I also wanted the Salmon tartare but only ordered one so the waiter brought us a sample of the tatare! Outstanding. Beef tenderloin raviolis were divine. Lamb chops amazing. We love everything about it. Wait staff perfection.

This was the last night of a special birthday weekend for my wife. My wife asked for a substitution of a side of pasta for the potatoes on a fish dish. The server said we don’t do substitutions, which while I find crazy, if that’s the rule I am sure the server didn’t make it. Any way, he said he would do a half portion of one of the entrees and suggested a mushroom pasta. It turns out the entree price for the mushroom pasta was $50 and they charged us $40 for a supposed 1/2 portion. The manager said it wasn’t really half which is why they charged us $40 and not $25. So we went from asking for a free substitution of pasta to paying more for the 1/2 portion than the entree cost. I will never go back and I will never recommend this restaurant. I work at a hotel so I hope this owner enjoys his $40 of extortion because it will be the last that he gets from me. I would have made a bigger stink but my wife felt bad and I didn’t want to ruin her birthday dinner. They did bring a candle with the dessert and sang, “happy birthday” which was nice, but just not worth $40.

It was a pre concert dinner, I found the service very good eventhough the kitchen was rushed and a little behind. I was thinking that maybe the restaurant could have a pre- concert menu as they are right in front of Bellas Artes and they and the clients could feel more at ease. It is usually a great place to go for dinner but a few times we have left a little disappointed with the service but this time they served us well. We will be going back and recommend it.
