Babe's Chicken Dinner House - Sanger

My smoked chicken breast was not cooked done, it was tough and needed about five more minutes in the oven. The tables are so close together that you can hear all conversations next to us. It just feels too dark, too dirty, too many people in one location and chicken, not cooked appropriately. Everything is out of the box too fyi the potatoes the beans, all instant or processed, you are eating nothing that’s healthy especially if you’re in the fried department. Just take a look around 99% of the people are overweight, lol and that tells you one thing fat is key to their success. Slip Sanger!!

Great food and superb service Vegetarian options: Better than home cooking

Wow! That's all I can say. I decided to order takeout so I wouldn't feel out of place. I couldn't help but notice someone else dining there who looked like they were in "12 Years a Slave."

On my last visit, I would rate the service even lower than one star, but the food managed to lift the overall experience. The servers seemed more focused on socializing in the kitchen than attending to customers. It took 8 minutes for anyone to greet us and take our drink order, so we decided to place our food orders at the same time. While the food arrived fairly quickly, our server never checked on us. We had to wave him down to request refills, and we noticed him spending quite a bit of time in the kitchen while we waited for our check. Eventually, I grew tired of waiting and went to the front to pay without being presented with a check. Only then did he notice and bring it to me right at the register. We observed several other diners with more attentive servers enjoying their meals while we waited. The food is definitely a reason for me to return, but I sincerely hope management can improve the training for the waitstaff.

I took my family for the first time. Wow! Great food, service and atmosphere! We will be back.
