Hatcho - Santa Clara

We waited for 45 minutes to be seated, even though there were several empty tables. Once we were seated, we waited another 30 minutes without any service. Eventually, we left without anyone seeming to notice. There was only one server for the entire restaurant, and she appeared overwhelmed. It seemed like they were about to close and had already given up.

We waited 15 minutes for someone on the staff to even recognize that we were at the hostess table instead of just going with a word. The party before us finally gave up. The various parties behind us discussed the same.

You will let us wait 20 minutes before our reservation. And then told us they can't take us. Offered a corner table and told us we had to wait for 30 people to be served before our order. We loved the food here and I hoped to have a final taste before they close. Too bad. Beyond disappointed.

Upon arrival, the reservation was not displayed in the restaurant portal. The service was slow.

I dined with my family including two kids under 11 yrs old. We did have to wait a little longer than we are used to at other venues. However good things come to those who wait the food was delicious, the soup the sashimi, tempura, sushi rolls. We had a very filling and pleasant dinner. I highly recommend.
