Puranpoli - Santa Clara

This place is amazing. First time here and we are not vegetarians. Service is awesome and it's very clean. The flavor of the food is out of this world. We are so much that we can't even eat anymore. The portion was big. Shared between 3 people and still had left overs. GREAT PLACE!! Thank you

As someone who hails from Maharashtra, the bar was high. And Puranpoli delivered. The sabudana vada was a little different than I'm used to but was very good super crispy and flavorful and not greasy. The misal pav was on point. The ambiance inside lacks energy and can feel uninviting but the outside set up is great.

My family and I love the food at this restaurant. It is quite far from where we live, but we try to go if we are anywhere near Santa Clara. Absolutely delicious. The service is excellent too. Parmod Kumar was there yesterday, and he served us with such a great attitude and smile. The only thing they can improve is maybe the decor etc, but on the other hand, that would take it from unpretentious to something else and change the vibe. So maybe it is fine. Being a maharashtrian I would say purapoli did justice to the maharashtrian cuisine. Food is authentic and tasty. We ordered vada pav, sukhi batata bhaji, bharli vangi, puri, chapati, bhakri, sol kadi and ukhdiche modak. Chapati and bhakri were okeish. Puri were nice. Sol kadi was delicious. Modak was overpriced and average in taste. Overall a bit on the pricier side but if you're craving for maharashtrian/Indian/veg food, then definitely worth a visit. Sitting/environment is average. Lot of parking space is available.Vegetarian options: All dishes are vegetarian.Parking: Lots.

Food: 4/5The food is to the point. Flavor profiles are solid but I think they can improve the texture just a tad bit overall. Still great food and I’d order everything again.Sabu dana khichdi was yum!So was misal pao. I think Misal pao had great texture as well.Thali was also great paneer tikka masala and Rajma were flavourful. Daal and bhindi were awesome. Very unique bhindi prep.Their tawa Roti can be better.
