Emily's Good Things To Eat - Santa Cruz

This has been our go-to bakery on the Central Coast since we first arrived in 1992! The croissants are amazing, especially the ham and cheese.

I rarely write reviews, especially negative ones, but my friend and I found bugs in our drinks at this restaurant. We ordered a coffee and a smoothie, which were prepared quickly, but we both discovered at least one gnat at the bottom of our drinks. When we tried to complain, we received no response. The food was also subpar and the coffee was not enjoyable. We ended up throwing everything away and did not receive any refund or explanation.

Great staff, really good muffins and blueberry banana smoothie, and its all reasonably priced. there is a lunch rush around 1130-1 during the school year and usually theres only one person working so a line may form, but overall love it. Great place to go for a quick breakfast or lunch.
