Surfrider Cafe - Santa Cruz

This is one of the best veggie burgers I've ever had! They even bake their sourdough buns in-house. The fries are fantastic as well. I enjoyed this place so much that I returned during the same trip to Santa Cruz. I highly recommend it to anyone searching for a great lunch. Our waitress was also amazing. I haven't visited during peak hours, so I can't speak to the wait times. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Santa Cruz just to eat here again!

I visited this restaurant for the first time and it exceeded my expectations! The server was incredibly friendly and attentive. We tried the pumpkin and chocolate shakes, and both were absolutely worth the calories—so delicious! We also had the pulled pork sliders and the California slider, if I remember the name correctly, and they were fantastic. The onion rings were huge and delicious as well! We have definitely found our go-to spot in Santa Cruz!

Delicious food and outstanding service! The portions are enormous, so come hungry! The burgers, fish tacos, and BBQ wings are all delicious and definitely worth trying!

Great food. We tried the avocado fries, sweet potato fries, the southern fried pickles, the Popeye burger. It was all very good.

I got the chipotle stuffed burger. It comes with a jalapeno poppers stuffed with cheese on top. Just the right amount of kick for my tastes. I got steak fries with garlic and Parmesan cheese on top. Excellent food, large portions, reasonable pricing.
