To avoid. The man responsible for reception is rude and visibly looking for confrontation. Arriving 10 minutes after closing at 6 p.m., I was filling out a late arrival form outside when he showed up next to me. I politely asked him if he worked here and he refused to answer while staring at me aggressively. After a second attempt on my part, he told me: if I'm here it's because I have to work there. I preferred to leave and look for another place. Sir, please do not lie to try to be right at all costs. I am 67 years old and I have been traveling to the USA for 50 years. It would never occur to me to speak in French and hope to be understood. I have never experienced such an unpleasant welcome meeting while camping. For your part, by reading the many comments similar to mine, you will collect them. I sincerely wish you to be happy one day. Rooms: 1 Location: 3

Had a nice stopover at Santa Rosa RV park on our way through. Chris and Caelin were incredibly nice and accommodating. Also delivered an awesome meal right to our door. Quiet and peaceful. Spaces were gravel and nice and level with full hookups, cable and internet. Laundry was clean and worked as day. Highly recommend staying here if you are through this way. This is a quiet campground with easy pull thru spots that are decent sized. We didn’t use any amenities but everything is here including a small store with souvenirs etc. We would definitely be back when we stop through Santa Rosa again. They also have a BBQ restaurant that will deliver to your site. We came in a bit too late for that, maybe next time.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Prices were very affordable. Sites were relatively level, wide enough, and well arranged. They could definitely use some better mowing to keep grasses down. Some utility pedestals were shared. The bathrooms were a little dated, but very well maintained and clean. There was a little bit of road noise from old Route 66 and the occasional sound of a train horn, but it wasn't bad the winds were far louder when we were visiting!
