It was fine. Rather long wait for food, considering we were the first customers to arrive. Was a good deal with the voucher we had, would possibly go back with with another voucher. Staff not particularly professional. Was all a little underwhelming.
The male staff members were very friendly. I used a voucher for four people and only paid for two meal portions. The total cost for two portions of bacon was $85.80. My oldest son arrived a little later and his entire meal only cost $17.50. We didn't have the option for large drinks with our meals that I paid for. None of the cakes had berries, and the server didn't seem happy to assist me, so I didn't feel comfortable complaining. The service was not as quick as promised. We often go out for meals to give my children experiences they never had as kids. The voucher was a nice way for us to try out this place, but the food didn't live up to our expectations. My husband even mentioned that it didn't look or taste good without the seasoning. Overall, I believe that using a voucher may not be necessary if the prices for the specials are better than the menu options available with the voucher. This was the first food voucher I've used for a café, and the server made me feel uncomfortable, perhaps because of my skin color, as even my daughter, who was with me, was served after other customers. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to this restaurant.
I ordered 2 eggs benedict and a breakfast burger using a Groupon deal. Unfortunately, there was no spinach available so I had to opt for mushrooms with one dish and hash browns with the other. Both dishes came with hash browns. I requested mushrooms immediately but they did not arrive until 10 minutes later, resulting in a cold breakfast. Despite asking for mushrooms twice, I did not receive them. The eggs were overcooked and the ciabatta bread was replaced with two thick slices of white bread. There was hardly any sauce, making the breakfast very dry. This was the worst dining experience I have ever had.
I visited this restaurant with a Groupon deal. The eggs Benedict took a while to arrive and when it did, it was cold, overcooked, and the toast was burnt and difficult to cut. The Groupon included a small coffee, but I opted to upgrade to a larger cup for an additional $3, even though the coffee was only average. To top it off, the teaspoon that came with my coffee had pink lipstick on it. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.
